Rusty Hooks Llc is seeking a proactive Maintenance Staff member to ensure the optimal operation, safety, and upkeep of our building systems and equipment in Charleston. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient environment that supports our organizational goals and daily operations.

The ideal candidate is hard-working and dedicated to producing quality work with a positive attitude and readiness to handle carpentry and maintenance tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Carpenter preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to safely operate hand and power carpentry tools.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
• Strong mathematical and measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules and regulations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Install fixtures and materials such as windows, flooring, trim, and hardware.
• Conduct carpentry and maintenance painting tasks to uphold facility aesthetics and safety standards.
• Maintain facilities equipment.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff delivering excellent customer service while resolving issues efficiently.
• Support the upkeep of building interior spaces through carpentry, painting, plumbing repairs, electrical work, and general facilities maintenance.
