Tampa General Behavioral Hospital is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support a safe, clean environment for patients, guests, and staff. The role involves performing maintenance tasks under the Plant Operations Manager, including equipment testing and safety inspections.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, hospital plant operations experience, and a valid driver's license. Flex hours and overtime may be required; comprehensive benefits are offered.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Combination of education and relevant work experience may be required.
• Previous experience in plant operations in a hospital setting preferred.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements is helpful.
• Valid driver's license and a favorable MVR, along with proof of insurance when using your own auto.
• Must show proof of automobile insurance. May be required to work flexible hours and overtime.

Responsabilidades

• Assists in maintaining a safe, functional, clean and attractive physical environment for patient, guests, and employees.
• Performs, with minimal supervision, a variety of maintenance tasks under the direction of the Plant Operations Manager.
• Performs plan operations assessments, equipment testing, and documents as required.
• Performs safety and preventative maintenance inspections and documents as required.
• Effectively performs routine and incident specific maintenance tasks.
• Comply with established measures for infection control, OSHA regulations, and Safety/Risk Management Plans, and policies and procedures.
• Assists in assuring a safe and risk preventive environment.
• Comply with MSDS regulations and ensured documentation is current within the guidelines required by law.

Maintenance Technician

Full-Time: Monday-Friday 8:00A-5:30P - potential for weekend rotation

Qualifications and requirements:

• High School degree or equivalent preferred. Combination of education and relevant work experience may be required. ·
