Hourly Rate:

$18.24

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, machinery, vehicles, and grounds.
  • Assist in developing work order systems and preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Inspect, test, and repair all physical plant machinery and systems, maintaining detailed records.
  • Operate and maintain all physical plant machinery and equipment.
  • Repair building structures, walls, floors, ceilings, doors, windows, and stairways.
  • Inspect, test, and repair fire safety equipment, alarms, switches, and sensors.
  • Remove ice and snow during winter; mow lawns, grade roads, and trim trees as needed.
  • Participate in the facility safety committee and provide evaluations and suggestions.
  • Assist in vendor selection and supervision for equipment and renovations.
  • Manage service agreements for water testing, pest control, waste management, and sewage treatment.
  • Oversee environmental monitoring and assist in regulatory reporting.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required; vocational certification may substitute.
  • At least 2 years of experience in construction, repairs, or maintenance trades.
  • Skills in at least two of the following: construction, welding, automotive/mechanical repair, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or building maintenance.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a drug screening.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds, stand, walk, bend, and work in various environmental conditions.

Our Girls Short-Term Juvenile Justice Residential Program helps girls aged 13-17 reintegrate into their families and communities through evidence-based practices, education, behavioral health, and family counseling in a supportive environment.
