Qualifications

• Minimum of five years’ experience in facility maintenance work with an emphasis in a healthcare environment.
• Ability to lift in excess of 50 pounds, push, pull and move residents, equipment, supplies up to 200 pounds.
• Flexible hours including weekends, holidays and inclement weather when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain mechanical equipment, including heating and air conditioning.
• Replace light bulbs, batteries on smoke alarms, and ballasts as needed.
• Perform plumbing duties, including unclogging sinks, toilets, and faucets.
• Assist with snow and ice removal as needed.
• Maintain a safe, dignified and well‑being focused environment for residents and staff.
• Respond to off-hours critical facility calls.

Maintenance Worker Responsibilities:

• Work to repair and maintain mechanical equipment, including heating and air conditioning.
• Handles any electrical routines such as replacing light bulbs, batteries on smoke alarms, and ballasts when necessary.
• Perform plumbing duties, including unclogging sinks, toilets, repairs faucets, etc.
• Assists with snow and ice removal as needed.
• Maintain an atmosphere which allows privacy, dignity, and well-being of all residents, staff, and visitors in a safe and secure environment.
• Respond to off-hours critical calls to resolve facility issues.
