Job summary

The BellFlower at Whispering Ridge in Omaha, NE seeks a Full-Time Maintenance Worker to keep our community safe, well-maintained, and welcoming for residents.

You’ll handle routine maintenance, assist with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and building systems, support safety inspections, and join an EPIC culture focused on Excellence, Personal Investment, Celebration, Accountability, Compassion, and Team Spirit.

Qualifications

• Maintenance, repair, or related hands-on experience.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or general building maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle a variety of tasks.
• A friendly, dependable attitude and comfort working around seniors, families, and team members.
• Flexibility to assist with occasional evening, weekend, or emergency maintenance needs.
• A positive, team-first mindset and commitment to quality work.

Responsibilities

• Keep things running: Complete routine maintenance, repairs, and work orders throughout the community with Excellence and attention to detail.
• Assist with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, boilers, appliances, and other building systems.
• Get rooms move-in ready: Prepare resident apartments so each space is clean, safe, and ready to welcome someone home.
• Support safety: Assist with inspections, preventative maintenance, emergency needs, and contractor projects.
• Be part of the team: Show Team Spirit by pitching in where needed and supporting residents and coworkers throughout the community.
• Take ownership: Bring Accountability and Personal Investment to your work by following through, solving problems, and taking pride in a job well done.
