Job summary

Concordia of Bridgeville is seeking an Experienced Maintenance Technician to maintain equipment, perform repairs and manage utility systems within the facility. Hours are 40 hours per week with overtime as needed; shifts are 7am-3:30pm or 8am-4:30pm.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and prior maintenance experience. The role requires on-call responses, room repairs, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general refurbishing as needed, with seasonal snow/leaf removal duties.

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining equipment, repairs, and utility systems within the facility.

Qualifications for Maintenance Technician:

• Caring, compassionate, and understanding
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Maintenance experience required
• Performs general maintenance duties, such as: room repairs, plumbing work, electrical, appliance, and equipment repairs, painting, and refurbishing.
• Maintains all tools, equipment, and supplies in proper condition.
• Maintains facility during season changes, including snow and leaf removal, and salting sidewalks.
• Answers emergency calls when assigned to the on-call phone
• Moves furniture, such as beds, dressers, etc. from one area to another.
• Assists or performs general repairs on the heating and air conditioning systems, water systems, refrigeration systems, pumps, motors, fans, electrical systems and emergency generators.
