Wellspring Lutheran Services in Michigan is seeking a Maintenance Worker to keep our skilled nursing campus safe, comfortable, and well maintained for residents, families, and staff. You will handle repairs, preventive tasks, and campus improvements to support a welcoming environment.
You will work with a collaborative team, prioritize safety, and respond to daily maintenance needs to minimize disruptions and ensure high-quality resident care.
For the residents we serve, this isn’t just a facility. It’s home.
It’s where they share meals with friends, welcome visits from family, attend activities, recover from illness, and create new routines each day. The environment around them plays an important role in their comfort, safety, independence, and quality of life.
You understand that.
You know that maintaining a senior living community isn’t just about repairing equipment or completing work orders. It’s about ensuring residents can move safely through their day, feel comfortable in their surroundings, and have confidence that the place they call home is being cared for by people who take pride in their work.
At Wellspring Skilled Nursing & Rehab, we’re looking for a Maintenance Worker who understands that every repair, every preventive maintenance task, and every improvement helps create a better experience for the residents we serve.
As a Maintenance Worker, you’ll play an important role in maintaining our buildings, grounds, equipment, and campus environment. You’ll help ensure our community remains safe, functional, welcoming, and prepared to meet the needs of residents, families, visitors, and employees every day.
Most importantly, you’ll help create the kind of environment where residents can feel comfortable, secure, and at home.
You’ll help maintain the buildings and grounds that residents rely on every day, ensuring they remain safe, attractive, and functional.
You’ll respond to maintenance needs throughout the community, helping solve problems quickly and minimizing disruptions to residents and staff.
You’ll contribute to preventative maintenance efforts that keep critical systems operating reliably and safely.
You’ll assist with repairs, facility improvements, grounds maintenance, and seasonal projects that enhance the resident experience.
You’ll help support campus safety through regular inspections, identifying potential hazards, and addressing concerns before they become larger issues.
You’ll work alongside team members across departments to ensure the community continues operating smoothly and residents receive the high-quality environment they deserve.
Some days you’ll be completing repairs and maintenance projects. Other days you’ll be supporting campus improvements, preparing resident spaces, addressing facility needs, or responding to unexpected challenges that arise throughout the community.
Every day, your work will directly impact resident comfort, safety, and peace of mind.
When you join Wellspring, you’re joining a mission-driven organization that believes every role contributes to resident well-being.
Residents may never see every repair completed behind the scenes, every preventive maintenance check, or every project that keeps the campus running smoothly. But they experience the results every day through a community that is safe, comfortable, welcoming, and well cared for.
As a Maintenance Worker, you’ll play an important role in delivering that experience.
For more than 130 years, Wellspring Lutheran Services has been a trusted partner for families across Michigan, providing compassionate support and critical services to help people thrive during times of challenge and change. With deep roots in communities statewide, our team is united by a shared vision of changed lives, strong families and transformed communities.
Motivated by Christ’s love, we engage people as they experience and embrace their God-given potential.
