Job summary

The Keystone Center in Chester, PA seeks a Maintenance Worker to perform preventative maintenance, repair HVAC equipment, and execute routine plumbing and electrical tasks across hospital facilities. This role supports safe, reliable operations in a healthcare setting.

You'll handle painting, general building upkeep, grounds maintenance (ice, snow, parking lot), and respond to maintenance requests under the Director of Plant Operations, contributing to patient care by ensuring a well-maintained

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; hospital experience preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Experience in hospital maintenance preferred.

KeyStone Center , located in Chester, PA, offers substance use disorder and dual diagnosis treatment for adults. We are located five miles south of the Philadelphia Airport, making our facility an easy location to travel to and from, for out-of-state treatment options and visitors.

The Maintenance Worker performs preventative maintenance and engages in skilled maintenance activities on equipment and plant operations systems. The Maintenance Worker demonstrates knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform maintenance functions in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of the Keystone Center

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or equivalency previous experience in a hospitalsetting preferred.

License/Certification: Required Valid Drivers License

Supervision Received: Director of Plant Operations

Environmental Conditions:

Internal and externalhospital grounds subject to extreme weather condition. exposure to high voltage electrical equipment and other hazardous equipment tools and supplies. Exposure to chemical dependant and dual diagnosis patients. Potential for exposure to communicable diseases, blood/body fluids and other hazardous waste.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Heavy physicalworkload lifting 50-80 pounds unassisted and in excess of 80 pounds with assistance. Requires prolonged bending, stopping, pushing, pulling ,kneeling and climbing throughout shift. Must be able to drive a car and or a truck.
