Roxbury Hospital is currently recruiting a full-time Maintenance Tech to work in our Shippensburg behavioral healthcare facility.

This is a Monday - Friday position with on-call overnight and weekend rotation.

The Maintenance Tech is responsible for assisting the Director, Plant Operations/Support Services with the daily operations of facility management. The Maintenance Tech assists in the repair and/or renovation of buildings to include the following in addition to providing maintenance support for all areas of the facility.

Job Responsibilities:

• Installs, repairs, and/or maintains drywall, mechanical equipment, HVAC, plumbing system, sprinkler system, appliance repair, electrical equipment, receptacles, smoke detectors, emergency lighting, light bulbs, weekly/monthly inspections/tours, extinguisher, exit lighting, and generator testing.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma, preferred. Minimum of three (3) years of maintaining and repairing basic electrical, mechanical, and plumbing equipment, preferably in a hospital environment.
