Responsibilities

• Break down boxes and manage trash liners as needed.
• Set up and break down for meetings and events.
• Coordinate with admin staff for seasonal cleaning duties.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
• Must be a service minded team player with the ability to work independently and show initiative
• Required to successful pass a criminal background check
• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs
• Understand and carry out instructions related to the use of equipment and cleaning products and the safe use
• Ability to work within established policy guidelines and accept directions and follow instruction

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain a cleaning schedule to ensure common use spaces – restrooms, offices, kitchen, fellowship hall, chapel, hard surfaces – are cleaned, sanitized, and ready for program use
• Monthly cleaning and maintenance of floor bases, windows and sills, light fixtures, vents, etc.
• Maintain inventory of supply closet
• Routinely change liners on trash receptacles
• Break down of extra boxes as deemed necessary
• Clean off / organize patio each week
• Pick up trash around exterior of buildings as needed
• Set up and break down for meetings
• Coordinate with Social Service Admin Assistant for seasonal cleaning
• Additional duties during the holidays as assigned
• Other duties as assigned to assist in the function of the organization

Must have the ability to operate telephone, a desktop or laptop computer, as well as the ability to access and produce information from a computer and to understand written information.
