With more than a dozen locations across Rhode Island and more than 300 employees, Thrive is continuing to grow and meet the needs of the community.General Summary: Perform tasks associated with the maintenance of Thrive’s buildings and grounds.Schedule: Mon-Fri, First ShiftLocation: Warwick, RISalary: Starts at $20/hr, depending on experience.Essential Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance, structural renovations, and janitorial tasksRelocate furniture and equipmentPerform routine landscaping tasksAssist in conducting fire and safety drillsProvide back-up to the Sr. Maintenance WorkerProvide back-up on call coverage for emergenciesReview e-mail account daily for new messages.Works with CAT 6Works well with computersSnow plow removalCarry and enliven a positive Thrive image consistent with the Thrive’s Guiding Principles and professional code of ethics.Education, Experience and Competencies:High School Graduate or equivalent.3 years of experience performing tasks outlined above.Basic knowledge and skill level in carpentry, plumbing, electricity, and HVAC systems which will allow for the identification and correction of problems which do not require the use of outside vendors.Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision and under the pressure of constant deadlines.
