Job summary

Thrive Behavioral Health is seeking a Residential Treatment Worker for a 2nd shift (1pm–9pm) at our Barrington, RI location. Starting wage is $20/hr, depending on experience, with a focus on supervising residents and teaching basic living and social skills.

You will coordinate medical, dental and psychiatric services and supervise medication compliance in a supportive, structured group home environment. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license or

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in the Human Service field preferred.
• Valid driver's license required or ability to obtain transportation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise residents and provide a safe and comfortable environment.
• Provide intensive education, training and modeling in basic living skills and social skills including but not limited to shopping within a budget understanding the difference between “want” vs. “needs”.
• Coordinate and monitor medical, dental and psychiatric services.
• Supervise medication compliance.
• Produce, complete, and maintain billing forms, logs, data collection forms, clinical documentation and client records in accordance with Thrive standards and state and federal regulations.
• Provide crisis intervention and basic behavioral program implementation.
• Transport clients.
• Review e-mail account daily for new messages.
• Carry and enliven a positive Thrive image consistent with the Thrive’s Guiding Principles and professional code of ethics.
