Job summary

Thrive Behavioral Health in Tiverton, RI, is seeking a Residential Treatment Worker to provide direct service and supervise daily living skills for residents with long-term mental illness. The role involves coordinating medical, dental, and psychiatric services, supervising medication, and maintaining client records and documentation to Thrive standards. Location: Tiverton, RI.

Hours vary. Pay starts at $20/hr.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in the Human Service field preferred.
• Valid driver's license required or ability to obtain necessary transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct service and supervise daily living skills of residents within a group home for persons with long-term mental illness.
• Supervise residents and provide a safe and comfortable environment.
• Coordinate and monitor medical, dental and psychiatric services.
• Supervise medication compliance.
• Produce, complete, and maintain billing forms, logs, data collection forms, clinical documentation and client records in accordance with Thrive standards and state and federal regulations.
• Provide crisis intervention and basic behavioral program implementation.
• Transport clients.
• Review e-mail account daily for new messages
• Carry and enliven a positive Thrive image consistent with the Thrive's Guiding Principles and professional code of ethics.

General Summary: Provide direct service and supervise daily living skills of residents within a group home for persons with long-term mental illness.

Pay: Starting at $20/hr

Essential Responsibilities:

• Supervise residents and provide a safe and comfortable environment.


• Provide intensive education, training and modeling in basic living skills and social skills including but not limited to shopping within a budget understanding the difference between "want" vs. "needs".


• Coordinate and monitor medical, dental and psychiatric services.


• Supervise medication compliance.


• Produce, complete, and maintain billing forms, logs, data collection forms, clinical documentation and client records in accordance with Thrive standards and state and federal regulations.
