Maintenance Welder
Job Description

This role focuses on welding and maintaining components that will be assembled into conveyor systems. You will interpret blueprints, use quality tools, and operate a variety of fabrication equipment to produce high-quality welded assemblies in a production environment.

Responsibilities
  • Weld and assemble components that will be integrated into conveyor systems using MIG and TIG welding processes.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly of parts.
  • Perform maintenance and repair on welded and fabricated components as needed to support conveyor system operations.
  • Work with stainless steel and other metals to produce precise and structurally sound welds.
  • Use grinding and other finishing tools to prepare, smooth, and finish welded parts to specification.
  • Inspect completed welds and assemblies using quality tools to verify dimensions, alignment, and overall workmanship.
  • Operate fabrication equipment safely and efficiently to meet production goals and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in alignment with shop standards and safety procedures.
Essential Skills
  • At least 2 years of MIG welding experience in a production or fabrication environment.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Hands‑on experience working with stainless steel and other metals.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform maintenance and fabrication tasks related to welded components.
  • Competence using grinding tools and other fabrication equipment for part preparation and finishing.
  • Ability to use quality tools to inspect and verify welded assemblies.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • TIG welding experience and the ability to perform TIG welds on various materials.
  • Experience working in a conveyor system, industrial, or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality welds.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a production setting.

Work Environment

This is a permanent position based out of Mequon, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
