Job summary

RJW Transport, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Utility Worker to assist with vendors and contract mechanics, and to help maintain all company equipment. The role reports to the Maintenance Manager and requires flexibility for after-hours emergencies.

Shift options run Monday–Friday with 7:00am–3:30pm or 2:00pm–10:30pm; compensation starts at $22.00 per hour. High school diploma or equivalent is required along with valid Illinois driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, understand and communicate in English.
• General computer knowledge and basic office software.
• Ability to work independently and on-call for emergencies.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist Maintenance Safety Manager with vendors and RJW Transport contract mechanics.
• Maintain all company equipment.
• Report to Maintenance Manager.
