Job summary

Delta Air Lines is seeking a Maintenance Utility Employee in Atlanta to perform non-aircraft maintenance tasks, including general housekeeping, janitorial duties, and servicing of equipment. You will conduct pre-operational inspections of GSE and vehicles and operate forklifts as part of keeping work areas clean and safe.

You must be able to read and write English, lift 35 lbs, and work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Must meet the physical requirements (lift 35lbs).
• Must be able to multi-task and work under pressure.

• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance Utility Employee tasks limited to non-aircraft maintenance (housekeeping, janitorial, equipment servicing).
• Perform pre-operational inspections of ground support equipment and vehicles; operate forklifts.
• Keep work areas clear of debris by collecting empty boxes, pallets and miscellaneous items.
• Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes.
