Responsibilities

  • Pick up litter and debris throughout the beach, park grounds, picnic areas, parking areas, and other public spaces.
  • Empty, replace, and maintain trash and recycling containers throughout the park.
  • Clean and sanitize public restrooms, including toilets, sinks, floors, mirrors, and other fixtures.
  • Restock restroom supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and other necessary materials.
  • Maintain cleanliness of shelters, picnic areas, walkways, entrances, and other facilities used by the public.
  • Assist with maintaining a clean and attractive beach area by removing trash, debris, and other unwanted materials.
  • Monitor public areas for maintenance or safety concerns and report problems to supervisors.
  • Perform routine cleaning and light maintenance tasks using appropriate tools, equipment, and cleaning products.
  • Follow established safety procedures and park rules while working around visitors, vehicles, equipment, and public facilities.
  • Provide courteous and helpful service to park visitors when assistance is needed.

Fort De Soto Hospitality operates a variety of concessions and rentals in the park, located in Pinellas County. We're looking for energetic team members that will play a vital role in providing guests an enjoyable experience while visiting the park. From kayak and bike rentals, snacks, beach supplies and souvenirs, we are the premium park vendor. The beachy atmosphere promotes a fun and ideal workspace immersed in the natural beauty of the park and surrounding waters.
