Job summary

Trex Company in the United States is seeking a Morning Shift Utility Technician to maintain critical onsite utilities including chillers, hot oil systems, air compressors and boiler operations to keep extrusion lines running smoothly.

You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair utilities, maintain production tools such as banders, strappers, and timber taggers, and uphold 5S standards to ensure a safe, organized workflow across the shift.

Qualifications

• Experience with hand and power tool use.
• Ability to read a multimeter and related measurements.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operability of onsite utilities including chiller, hot oil, air compressors and boiler operations.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair onsite utilities.
• Maintain production tools including bander, strappers, timber taggers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area (5S practices).
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and modifications.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to tooling performance and extrusion efficiency.
