Job summary

Delta Air Lines is seeking a Maintenance Utility Employee in Atlanta to perform non-aircraft maintenance tasks, including general housekeeping, janitorial duties, and servicing of equipment. You will conduct pre-operational inspections of GSE and vehicles and operate forklifts as part of keeping work areas clean and safe.

You must be able to read and write English, lift 35 lbs, and work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

How You'll Help Us Keep Climbing (Overview & Key Responsibilities)

The Maintenance Utility Employee tasks are restricted to only non-aircraft maintenance (e.g. general housekeeping duties, janitorial tasks, machine or tank servicing (fluids, filters, media, etc.) Other tasks include completion of pre-operational inspections of ground support equipment (GSE) and vehicles, operating forklifts and cleaning. Aside from these duties, this MUE is also responsible for collecting empty boxes, pallets and other miscellaneous items to keep work areas and its halls clear of debris.

• Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.
• General housekeeping, machine servicing and GSE pre-operational inspections.

What You Need To Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Must meet the physical requirements which qualify a person to perform essential job functions (lift 35lbs).
