Job summary

Socket.dev in Sulphur, LA is seeking a Technician V for an in-plant role, reporting to a discipline supervisor. You will evaluate, select and apply standard techniques across maintenance and reliability tasks.

Responsibilities include leading maintenance transformation, implementing standardized work processes, and driving cost reductions while ensuring knowledge transfer and sustainable practices on site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with extensive experience in related field.
• Valid Driver’s License per state requirements.
• Detailed knowledge of policies and procedures related to project work.

Responsibilities

• Lead the maintenance transformation program and overall roadmap execution.
• Implement standardized maintenance work management processes.
• Establish planning, scheduling, backlog management and work prioritization standards.
• Drive contractor optimization and maintenance cost reduction initiatives.
• Establish and lead Maintenance Performance Control System (PCS).
• Improve wrench time, schedule compliance, PM compliance and overtime management.
• Lead governance routines, KPI reviews and action tracking.
• Coordinate reliability improvement efforts with Reliability Engineers.
• Coach supervisors, planners and maintenance leadership.
• Ensure knowledge transfer and sustainability of new processes.
• Support organizational design, role clarity and accountability improvements.
