Job summary

Arconic is hiring a Training Coordinator in Bettendorf, IA to manage maintenance training schedules and mentor apprentice trainees. The role includes tracking OJT hours for 75+ apprentices, coordinating with HR and training staff, and maintaining apprenticeship records with the state.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED, at least 2 years in manufacturing, and strong MS Office skills. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with HR and Training Staff and create maintenance training schedules.
• Coach maintenance hourly/salary employees on systems, processes and contracts.
• Track OJT hours for 75+ apprentices and manage reviews/retention decisions.
• Register and track apprentices with Iowa Office of Apprenticeship.
• Assist with documentation, LMS requests and training records.
• Support LMS usage and training assignments; perform other duties.
