Job summary

Arconic in Bettendorf, IA is seeking a Training Coordinator to partner with HR and training staff to schedule and manage comprehensive maintenance training programs. You will support hourly and salary staff, maintain OJT tracking for 75+ apprentices, and ensure compliance with apprenticeship and ITAR requirements.

The role emphasizes organization, data handling, and proactive learning system administration across the plant, with opportunities to impact workforce development and safety training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office- Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• This position requires access to controlled technology per ITAR/EAR; export control compliance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with HR and Training Staff and create maintenance training schedules.
• Coach maintenance hourly/salary employees with maintenance systems, processes, and contractual requirements.
• Track On the Job Training Hours (OJT) for up to 75+ apprentices and probationary employees and manage their reviews and retention decisions.
• Register and track apprentices in the Iowa Office of Apprenticeship.
• Assist with documentation and filing of apprentice and probationary reviews, plantwide mobile equipment training records and on the job training forms.
• Assist with the Learning Management System (LMS) including training requests, changes, training assignments, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.
