Job summary

Responsibilities

• Manages, plans, and directs the maintenance training program. Oversees On-the-Job Training for maintenance group personnel and related staff.
• Develops and coordinates training schedules with Maintenance Supervision to minimize disruption and maximize trainee availability.
• Conducts staff visits and provides information to managers on training matters under incumbent's responsibility.
• Outlines and directs implementation of maintenance training programs for supervisors and trainers; certifies training course instructors.
• Maintains automated training references and coordinates training needs with unit personnel and deployment managers.
