Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Northeast LLC is seeking a night shift Maintenance Technician to assist with routine maintenance and repair of plant equipment. The role runs 4:30pm-4:30am, supporting reliability and safety on site.

You will learn to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems under supervision, perform preventative tasks, and contribute to a clean, safe work environment while adhering to safety standards. Union benefits are provided.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assist with routine maintenance and repair of plant equipment and machinery on night shift, 4:30pm-4:30am
• Fuel equipment, put DEF, check speed reducers, change shaker oil etc.
• Learn to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems under supervision
• Support preventative maintenance tasks to ensure operational efficiency
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety standards
• Participate in training programs to build technical skills and knowledge

Conditions of Employment

Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing

Work Environment

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level
