Job summary

Nashua School District is seeking a Tradesman - Grade 6 to perform maintenance, repairs and minor alterations across district facilities. The role requires hands-on work in carpentry, masonry, and machinery repair, including doors, windows, hardware, and key/cylinder tasks.

You will support district operations and contribute to safe, well-maintained spaces. Applicants should have at least two years in related trades, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid NH driver's license.

Qualifications

• Two years of related trades experience with knowledge of procedures and equipment.
• Valid New Hampshire Driver's License.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repairs and minor alterations of school district buildings, furniture, fixtures and equipment.
• Carry out routine carpentry, masonry repair and machinery repair work.
• Repair doors, windows and hardware; duplicate keys and cylinders as needed.
• Maintain storage/work spaces, perform preventive maintenance and assist with snow removal; complete admin tasks on time.
