Job summary

CJ Schwan’s in Sidney, OH, is hiring a Maintenance Manager to lead all maintenance, tooling, die operations and thermos forming at the pizza plant. You will drive uptime, tooling integrity and safe, efficient production through preventive maintenance and hands-on leadership across presses and supporting equipment.

The role demands 10+ years of progressive maintenance experience with leadership, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and strong knowledge of metal forming and die maintenance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years progressive maintenance experience with leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical experience.
• Strong knowledge of metal forming, stamping, tooling and die maintenance.
• Experience leading maintenance teams and off-shift operations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the site technical and reliability leader, accountable for tooling, dies, presses, and overall asset optimization.
• Lead maintenance execution including reactive, corrective, planned, and condition-based maintenance; drive continuous improvement, EHS and capital projects.
• Own human safety and food safety performance; ensure OSHA, FDA/USDA, GMP compliance.
• Drive improvements in downtime, OEE, throughput, tooling life, scrap reduction, and maintenance cost.
• Lead, develop, and deploy maintenance and tooling teams; ensure training and workforce utilization.
• Manage maintenance budgets, capital projects, storeroom performance, and vendor/contractor relationships.
