Job summary

SkyWest is seeking a Maintenance Technology Support Specialist to work with IT and Maintenance to support software used by the Maintenance department. The role reports to the Manager of Operations Technology and is based at SkyWest's St.

George, UT corporate headquarters with some travel. Responsibilities include assisting in software development projects, providing user support, writing manuals for SkyTrack, testing changes with Business Analysts and Programmers, and troubleshooting software

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Airline industry knowledge preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in software development projects as assigned by the Manager of Operations Technology.
• Provide support for software used by the Maintenance Department.
• Write User Manual for SkyTrack, an in-house software.
• Work with Business Analysts and Programmers to test software changes.
• Troubleshoot software issues reported by maintenance department employees.
• Monitor software implementation to ensure that project objectives are met.

Primary Job Duties

The Maintenance Technology Support Specialist will work with the SkyWest Information Technology and Maintenance departments to support software used by the Maintenance department. This position will report to the Manager of Operations Technology.

This position will be located in St. George, UT, Corporate Headquarters and requires some degree of travel.

• Assist in software development projects as assigned by the Manager of Operations Technology

Minimum Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Knowledge of Airline Industry is preferred but not required
