Job summary

Openwork is seeking an Electrical Multi-Craft Technician to support Spartanburg, SC production facilities, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment to keep lines running safely and efficiently. You’ll work with PLCs, motors, drives, hydraulics, and pneumatics, read electrical schematics, and perform preventive maintenance.

A high school diploma or GED and 5 years of industrial maintenance experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 5 years of industrial maintenance experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical equipment
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, including industrial electrical systems up to 480V
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
• Experience with PLCs, motors, drives, hydraulics, and pneumatics preferred

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical issues on production equipment

Electrical Multi-Craft Technician – Spartanburg, SC

Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a skilled Electrical Multi-Craft Technician job in Spartanburg, SC. In this hands-on and technical role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery and equipment to keep production running safely and efficiently.

In an Electrical Multi-Craft Technician job you’ll be responsible for:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical issues on production equipment.
• Install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and facility equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot electrical controls, motors, drives, PLCs, and mechanical systems.
• Work with other maintenance technicians to ensure equipment reliability and safe operations.

What you’ll need:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5 years of industrial maintenance experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, including industrial electrical systems up to 480V.

2 different shifts available

2nd shift: 11:00am-7:00pm. Monday-Friday, overtime and weekends ad required.

3rd shift: 9:00pm-7:00am. 4 10-Hour nights. Rotating Sundays off.
