We are excited to announce the opening of a brand-new hotel and are seeking proactive, detail-oriented Maintenance Technicians to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of all hotel facilities, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and general maintenance tasks. Your expertise will help create a welcoming environment for our guests and staff by maintaining a safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing property. Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC units, and mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues related to electrical systems.
• Conduct painting as needed to maintain building aesthetics and structural integrity.
• Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects, ensuring safety standards and quality control are upheld.
• Lead or support team efforts in manufacturing or large-scale facilities maintenance environments with a focus on customer service excellence.
• Use tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment to test electrical circuits and components effectively.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations while supervising or performing maintenance tasks.
• Manage supplies inventory efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization in all work areas.

Qualifications

• Carrying, lifting, pulling or pushing items weighing up to 100 pounds/45 kilograms – 300 pounds/136 kilograms.
• Frequently standing up and moving about the facility.
• Frequently handling objects and equipment to maintain the facility.
• Frequently bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing and crawling.
• Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical skills, preventive maintenance procedures, and reasonable understanding of building equipment and hand tools.
• Communication skills are used frequently when interacting with the other hotel staff and hotel guests.
• Reading and writing abilities are used to document or record all tasks completed, to order supplies, to receive instructions for the day or to read equipment repair manuals.
• Mathematical skills, including basic math, are used frequently.
• Have the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and/or holidays.
