Job summary

QMS PROS, a well-established manufacturer in Saint Paul, MN, seeks three Maintenance Technicians to support three shifts. You’ll diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair pumps, motors, valves, sensors, piping, and controls on production lines and facility equipment to minimize downtime.

You’ll run preventive and predictive maintenance, read diagrams and schematics, and assist with equipment installs, facility projects, and improvement work. U.S. citizens only; visa sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of pumps, valves, sensors, motors, piping, and mechanical equipment.
• Working knowledge of basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Comfort reading manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
• Bonus, not required: welding, fabrication, plumbing, HVAC, controls, or wastewater-treatment experience.

Job description

I'm recruiting for 3 Maintenance Technicians, one per shift, for a well-established manufacturer in Saint Paul, MN.

If you're the person production calls when a line goes down, and you like tracing a problem to its cause and getting things running again, I'd like to talk to you.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot and repair pumps, motors, valves, sensors, piping, and controls on production lines and facility equipment
• Diagnose mechanical and basic electrical issues and get production back up quickly
• Run preventive and predictive maintenance, and catch problems before they cause downtime
• Support ventilation, compressed air, water, wastewater, and heating systems
• Help with equipment installs, facility projects, and improvement work

Shifts (you choose the one that fits)

• 1st: Mon-Fri, 6:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
• 2nd: Mon-Fri, 2:30 p.m.-11:00 p.m.
• 3rd: Sun-Fri, 10:00 p.m.-6:30 a.m.

Some overtime or occasional off-shift support may be needed.

Pay and opportunity

• $22-$34/hour, depending on experience. Strong experience and leadership can push this higher.
• Both contract-to-hire and direct placement are on the table
