Location: Wixom, MI
Job Type: Full-Time | Direct HirePay: $30-35/hr. We are seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians to support 2nd shift operations at a leading industrial equipment manufacturer in Wixom, MI. This is a great opportunity to be part of a team that builds and maintains complex, high-value manufacturing systems used in heat treatment processes across a wide range of industries including automotive and general manufacturing.Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled and reactive maintenance on industrial equipment including mechanical, electrical, and piping systems
• Troubleshoot and repair control systems, combustion components, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Support the setup, testing, and validation of mechanical and electrical sub-systems according to engineering documentation and operating procedures
• Assist with system checkouts to ensure all components operate safely and within specification
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and issues encountered
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to implement process improvements and resolve equipment issues
• Follow safety and compliance protocols while working with high-temperature systems and electrical components

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance, preferably in a heavy industrial or equipment manufacturing environment
• Technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience strongly
• Strong mechanical aptitude with a background in troubleshooting and repairing complex equipment
• Experience with industrial control systems, PLCs, combustion systems, and piping layouts
• Welding or fabrication experience is a plus
• Comfortable working independently and within a team-based environment
• Solid understanding of safety practices and preventive maintenance principles
