Job Overview

Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a part-time, day shift position. We offer a challenging and rewarding environment where compassion is key.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facility, grounds, and equipment.
• Perform minor repairs and ensure safety hazards are addressed.
• Service whirlpool lifts, lubricate wheelchairs, and maintain equipment cleanliness.
• Monitor and repair bedrails, dining tables, and other facility fixtures.
• Assist with hanging pictures, connecting TVs, and maintaining roof and downspouts.
• Perform minor carpentry, electrical, and plumbing repairs as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid NC Driver’s License.
• Knowledge of general maintenance, HVAC, and equipment functions.
• Computer skills for troubleshooting and work order systems.
• Availability to respond to calls every fourth weekend and work odd hours in emergencies.
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions clearly.
• Neat appearance and good hygiene.
• Knowledge of fire alarm panels, main power, water, and gas shut-offs.
• Willingness to perform housekeeping, laundry, or grounds duties as needed.
