Basalite Building Products, LLC in Dixon, CA is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair plant machinery, weld, and support safe operations. You will perform electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical maintenance, read drawings, and fabricate parts as needed. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Benefits include medical, dental, 401(k). Must have high school diploma and 3 years of welding and maintenance experience; PLC knowledge and valid driver's license

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years welding and machinery maintenance experience required.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide.
• Troubleshooter of electrical and maintenance repair issues.
• Working knowledge of PLCs and computer operated equipment.
• Valid Driver’s license required.
• Regular attendance; overtime and weekends as needed.

• Troubleshoot issues with plant machinery.
• Repair molds and use appropriate setup procedures.
• Replace or repair bearings and related parts.
• Make minor wiring repairs.
• Create fabrications from drawings.
• Make repairs in precarious, high locations, and enclosed areas.
• Perform welding in various positions and joints.
• Replace equipment parts with proper instructions and tools.
• Start or jog equipment to perform maintenance tasks.
• Repair hydraulic systems.
• Order minor parts and pick up as needed.
• Work with operators and supervisors to solve problems with machinery.
• Attend safety meetings and report hazards.
• Maintain predictable, regular attendance; overtime/weekends as needed.
