Responsibilities

• Sign on Bonus Available - Minimum $2,000*
• Work on Weekend Night Shift; 3 - 12 hour shifts

Position Summary

The Maintenance Tech I assists in installing and troubleshooting equipment, monitors machinery for safety and efficiency, ensuring equipment works according to plant needs and customer specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all production equipment under supervision.
• Communicate effectively with maintenance team and management.
• Complete work orders and document work accurately.
• Perform technical maintenance tasks under supervision.
• Maintain parts inventories and work with operators on process improvements.
• Adhere to safety, GMP, HACCP, and SQF standards, reporting safety or quality issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

• One-year certificate from college or technical school or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical and business documents, and communicate effectively.
• Basic math skills and ability to interpret schematics.
• Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Certification, Driver’s license, and ability to obtain HazMat, Confined Space Entry, and LOTO certifications.

Preferred:

• Experience in maintenance in manufacturing, strong electrical skills.
• Knowledge of pumps, motor controls, electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
• Understanding of OSHA and company safety regulations.
• Strong communication, mathematical, and analytical skills.
