Job summary

The Housing Company is hiring a Maintenance Technician at Rose Park Apartments in Blackfoot, Idaho. No prior experience is required—we provide training and support to help you start a new maintenance career.

You will help maintain apartment communities, perform turns, and support groundskeeping and seasonal tasks. You’ll work on-site, learn carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and more while delivering great service to residents.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn quickly and take direction.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and active auto insurance.
• Willingness to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance on apartment buildings and common areas.
• Complete apartment turns in a timely manner with quality workmanship.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and tools.
• Perform seasonal tasks such as mowing and snow/ice removal.
• Other duties as assigned.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will work on the maintenance of the complexes, as well as occasional work at other complexes as needed, including individual apartment units and the grounds. This is a great chance to develop your skills in:

In This Role, You Will:
