Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the VCU Health Stony Point Campus on a 2nd shift (Tue–Sat, 12pm–8:30pm; Saturday 7am–3:30pm).

You will troubleshoot equipment, supervise building automation, and perform preventive maintenance on critical systems across hospital facilities. A valid driver’s license and Building Automation experience are required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Experience with Building Automation Systems.
• Experience with computerized work order systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting equipment sets, replacing plumbing fixtures, rodding drains and pipes, identifying and stopping leaks, rebuilding flush valves.
• Supervising and adjusting the building automation system for patient/staff comfort.
• Generator testing and inspections, replacing light fixtures and bulbs, ceiling tiles, and responding to general building issues.
• Using drawings, wiring diagrams, and maintenance manuals for troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairs.
• Coordinating specialized work with vendors and contractors.
• Performing preventative maintenance on emergency power, emergency lighting, HVAC and other building systems.
• Conducting building and mechanical room inspections as part of the maintenance program.

Job Summary

Performs a variety of maintenance duties. This is a second shift 12pm to 8:30pm Tues-Sat schedule (you will work 7am to 3:30pm on Saturday's)

Responsibilities

• Conduct building and mechanical room inspections in accordance with maintenance program.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related experience as a maintenance worker/technician preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to follow up on maintenance tasks.
• Driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Experience with Building Automation Systems.
• Experience with computerized work order systems preferred.
