Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Reading, PA facility. The role offers 1st and 3rd shifts with a $3/hr differential and a Monday–Friday schedule in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, welding, and supporting VFD drives. This is a direct placement role based onsite in Reading, PA.

Qualifications

• Maintenance and repair of mechanical components and hydraulic/electrical systems.
• Experience with welding and fabrication (MIG & stick).
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical circuits using schematics and multimeter.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace mechanical components (motors, gearboxes, conveyors, belts, pulleys).
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems and build hydraulic hoses as needed.
• Perform welding and fabrication repairs (MIG & stick).
• Troubleshoot electrical issues with diagrams, multimeter, and megger.
• Install and align new equipment using hoists and precision tools.
• Support VFD drives (SEW, Siemens, Lenze, Allen Bradley).
• Work at heights using forklifts, cranes, and scissor lifts.
• Familiar with CMMS or work order systems.

Job Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace mechanical components (motors, gearboxes, conveyors, bearings, chains, belts, pulleys, rollers, etc.)

• Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems (cylinders, valves, solenoids, pumps) and build hydraulic hoses as needed

• Perform welding and fabrication repairs (MIG & stick) in various positions

• Troubleshoot electrical issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, multimeter, and megger

• Install and align new equipment using hoists, jacks, and precision tools

• Troubleshoot and support VFD drives (SEW, Siemens, Lenze, Allen Bradley)

• Work at heights and use equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and scissor lifts as needed

• Comfortable with CMMS system or any work order system

-Test/replace circuits, replace VFDs, troubleshoot sensors, troubleshoot photo-eyes, lasers, analog signals, proximity switches

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $40.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
