Job summary

WSB Solutions in Dunbar, WV is hiring a Maintenance Technician to help maintain housing units and property grounds. This temporary-to-permanent role requires a dependable, hands-on worker who can respond to work orders and prepare units for new tenants.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, at a pay rate of $17.00 per hour. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license, with experience in drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Basic experience with drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC preferred.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to pass standard pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Prepare housing units for incoming tenants
• Respond to maintenance requests and complete assigned work orders
• Perform routine grounds maintenance throughout the year
• Assist with basic drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repairs
• Use and maintain personal basic hand tools as required
• Maintain the safety and proper upkeep of property and equipment
• Communicate with supervisors regarding work orders and job status
• Assist with additional maintenance duties as assigned
