Job summary

Vulcan Metals Corporation in Atchison, KS is hiring a Maintenance Technician for 1st and 2nd shifts. You will perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and electrical/mechanical work on plant equipment, ensuring safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer 2–3 years’ experience as Electrician, Millwright or Mechanic.
• Experience with AC/DC up to 480V 3-phase electrical systems is preferred.
• Experience reading electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Experience using power tools and reading tape measures.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, modifications, and installation of parts on existing equipment.
• Carry out preventive maintenance per schedule and instructions.
• Participate in installation of new plant equipment.
• Maintain maintenance logs and records.
• Ensure safety policies including lock-out tag-out and fall protection are followed.
