Job summary

Mercy Housing in San Francisco is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and apartment turnovers. You will contribute to a clean, hazard-free environment and deliver strong resident service as part of the on-site maintenance team.

Requires a High School diploma or equivalent and knowledge of basic building maintenance; preferred candidates have 1+ year in skilled maintenance or related trades.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders in a timely and accurate manner; cleans up after completion.

The successful Maintenance Technician will complete preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and apartment turnovers. You are part of the maintenance team, responsible to ensure a high standard of cleanliness, customer service, and a hazard-free environment.

Tahanan provides 146 units of affordable housing with supportive services for residents in San Francisco, CA.

Pay: $23.00 - 25.70/hour DOE

Duties

• Completes work orders in a timely and accurate manner. Cleans up after work is complete.
• Performs repairs on the property, including painting, basic carpentry or wall repair, plumbing, and electrical.
• Cleans apartments during turnover process, as directed.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of basic building maintenance required either through training or experience.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year in skilled maintenance work.
• Technical training in one or more building trades preferred.
