Job summary

QSL Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician for The Barclay at Boynton Beach to perform preventive maintenance, upkeep, and resident move-in assistance in a senior living community. The role runs Tuesday through Saturday, 9 am–5 pm, at The Barclay in Boynton Beach.

Responsibilities include maintenance program adherence, timely task completion, and keeping facilities immaculate for residents and guests.

Qualifications

• Experience performing maintenance tasks in senior living environments.
• Knowledge of OSHA compliance and safety practices.
• Ability to respond promptly to resident repair requests.
• Willingness to work Tuesday–Saturday 9am–5pm.

Responsibilities

• Follows a preventative maintenance program including painting touch-ups, grounds and building readiness, ensuring lights work and debris is removed.
• Manages time effectively to complete tasks within company timeframes.
• Keeps building and grounds clean and appealing to residents, guests, referral sources and prospects.
• Documents maintenance records for systems and equipment (fire safety, extinguishers, monitoring, kitchen hood cleaning, elevator inspections, boiler permits, nurse call, generator, HVAC).
• Assists new residents and families with move-in tasks during admissions and discharges.

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Technician (Tuesday-Saturday 9am-5pm) for The Barclay at Boynton Beach

Primary Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician:

• Successfully follows a preventative maintenance program set forth by the Director of Facility Management, which including paint-touch up, grounds and building tour readiness, lights are working, gutters are free and clear of debris, pathways are clear, trash and debris are removed from the property.
• Practices excellent time management skills and completes tasks within company time frames.
• Ensures that building and grounds are clean, immaculate and appealing to residents, guests, referral sources and prospects.
• Provide accurate documentation as it applies to maintenance records on all systems and equipment, including but not limited to the fire sprinkler system, fire extinguishers, fire monitoring system, kitchen hood cleaning, elevator inspections, boiler permit, nurse call system, emergency back-up generator, automobile maintenance, HVAC and PTAC service.
• Assists new residents and family members with move-in tasks during admissions and discharges.

Requirements

• Experience with UTO| light painting| lifting of supplies| answering resident repair request
• Assisted Living environment
• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
• Working knowledge of OSHA compliance and laws
• Construction experience in coordinating building repairs.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
