Job summary

QSL Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician for The Barclay at Little River. This full-time role runs 8:00 am - 4:30 pm and involves preventive maintenance, building and grounds care, and assistance with resident move-ins and discharges.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma/GED, OSHA knowledge, construction coordination experience, and a valid driver’s license. Competitive wage and benefits offered.

Responsibilities

• Follows a preventative maintenance program as set by the Director of Facility Management.
• Manages time effectively to complete tasks within company time frames.
• Keeps building and grounds clean, immaculate, and appealing to residents and guests.
• Documents maintenance records for all systems and equipment (fire sprinkler, extinguishers, monitoring, kitchen hood, elevators, boiler permit, nurse call, generator, HVAC, PTAC).
• Assists new residents and families with move-in tasks during admissions and discharges.

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Technician for The Barclay at Little River

Primary Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician

• Successfully follows a preventative maintenance program set forth by the Director of Facility Management, which including paint-touch up, grounds and building tour readiness, lights are working, gutters are free and clear of debris, pathways are clear, trash and debris are removed from the property.
• Practices excellent time management skills and completes tasks within company time frames.
• Ensures that building and grounds are clean, immaculate and appealing to residents, guests, referral sources and prospects.
• Provide accurate documentation as it applies to maintenance records on all systems and equipment, including but not limited to the fire sprinkler system, fire extinguishers, fire monitoring system, kitchen hood cleaning, elevator inspections, boiler permit, nurse call system, emergency back-up generator, automobile maintenance, HVAC and PTAC service.
• Assists new residents and family members with move-in tasks during admissions and discharges.
