Job summary

Wasatch Property Management, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance and repairs across apartment units and common areas. You will respond to resident service requests within 3 hours and troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting issues.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and a hands-on approach. You'll work both independently and as part of a team, upholding our Resident First mindset and delivering high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of hands-on general maintenance experience.
• Ability to operate various hand and power tools.
• Experience in repairing/maintaining electrical systems, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, heating and air systems, pools.

From HVAC systems to plumbing repairs and cosmetic enhancements, Maintenance Technicians are vital in ensuring resident satisfaction. What you’ll do:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on apartment units and common areas.
• Respond to resident service requests in less than 3 hours.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting issues.

What we're looking for:

• Minimum of 1 year of hands‑on general maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to operate various hand and power tools.
• Experience in repairing and or maintaining at least most of the following: Electrical Systems Plumbing Appliances Flooring Carpentry Heating and air systems Pools
• Detail-oriented, flexible, and able to multitask.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Superior customer service skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and rotating on-call responsibility for after-hours emergencies

Benefits and Pay Range:

• The pay range for this position is $15.00 - 21.00 USD per hour depending on experience, plus quarterly bonus potential!
