Ag Processing Inc. in David City, NE is seeking a self-motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The role focuses on mechanical troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and fabrication of plant items. On-site, full-time position with on-call responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 2+ years in mechanical or related fields, and knowledge of PSM, NFPA, OSHA, and EPA regulations. Pas pre-employment physical and drug screen required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in mechanical, construction or equivalent.
• Knowledge of PSM, NFPA, OSHA, and EPA regulations.
• Ability to read and understand computer printouts and equipment specifications.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Repair and/or replace broken or non-functioning equipment through analysis of problem and determining what materials/parts are needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Fabricate new plant items out of metal or wood using welder's torches, band saws, presses, and other tools.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems and complete repairs when appropriate.
• Maintain plant sanitation standards
• Perform other duties as assigned
