Job summary

Mar-Bal, Inc. in Kentucky is seeking a maintenance technician to support our quality policy and plant operations. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure safety across shifts.

The role requires knowledge of electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, PLCs/HMI, and the ability to lift 70 lbs. A forklift license and willingness to work 2:15 PM–10:45 PM Monday–Friday are essential.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment and facility failures.
• Understanding of electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, schematics, PLCs, HMIs.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Must maintain forklift license.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:15 PM–10:45 PM with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment and facility failures.
• Maintain machine and facility preventative maintenance schedule.
• Report and correct safety issues as directed.
• Update, rebuild, and relocate equipment.
• Communicate machine and system issues across shifts.
• Look for ways to improve equipment and processes.
• Work in a safety conscious manner.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and request reorder as required.
• Must be able and willing to work weekends and over time as needed.
