Job summary

Bridgestone America, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician to join our Firestone Complete Auto Care team. You will be part of a dynamic shop, learning to diagnose and repair basic automotive systems, perform routine maintenance, and conduct road tests.

Full and part-time benefits are available from day one, including tool program discounts. Applicants should have a valid driver's license, basic mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience in automotive service industry preferred.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to diagnose and repair basic automotive including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
• Change oil and/or perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Install and perform tire maintenance.
• Install batteries, shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
• Road test vehicles.
