Job summary

Lillibridge in Indianapolis is seeking a Maintenance Technician Trainee to assist with upkeep for ten properties in the area, supporting safe, efficient operations for tenants and patients.

You will learn on the job, shadow the on‑site engineering team, and handle routine work orders, safety procedures, and basic repairs while growing technical skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training in maintenance-related fields preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be located in Indianapolis, IN area.
• Must be in office (onsite) 5 days a week.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds, climb ladders/stairs, and perform extensive walking.
• Basic computer skills and comfort using maintenance or work order software.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Assist in completing work orders related to physical maintenance and repairs of assigned buildings using work order software systems
• Support routine physical improvements to the property
• Respond to emergencies in accordance with departmental protocols
• Assist the Building and Engineering team in maintaining equipment, tools, supplies, stock inventories, and logs
• Communicate building status and changes effectively to appropriate individuals
• Adhere to all safety standards, policies and procedures, codes of conduct, and industry best practices
• Act professionally and courteously at all times with tenants, hospital clients, co-workers, vendors, and patients
• Use materials, supplies, tools, and building property safely and efficiently
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
