Job summary

Richdale Apartments is hiring Maintenance Technicians in Des Moines, IA. You will respond to service requests across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, pool, and appliances, and perform preventative maintenance to keep systems working smoothly.

A strong candidate has 3–5 years of relevant experience, HVAC certification preferred, and excellent communication with residents and management. On-call availability is required.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification preferred.
• 3–5 years relevant experience in maintenance.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, pool, and appliance maintenance.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Identify hazardous conditions and correct them promptly.
• Communicate with residents as needed.
• Deliver quality customer service to residents.
• Must be able to work on-call.

A Bit About the Role

• Respond to service requests including electrical, plumbing, air conditioning (HVAC), pool, and appliance in a timely manner
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
• Ability to identify hazardous conditions and correct them immediately
• Delivers various communications to residents as needed
• Provide the best quality customer service to our residents
• Must be able to work on-call
