Job summary

Xpress Global Systems, LLC in Georgia seeks a dedicated Truck/Tractor/Diesel Technician to join our team and help deliver a world of difference in every truck load. You will work Monday–Friday in a safety‑driven shop, performing repairs and maintenance with a strong emphasis on quality and customer service.

The role requires welding and fabrication skills, DOT compliance duties, and the ability to diagnose and repair trailers and related equipment.

Qualifications

• Verifiable experience as a diesel technician.
• DOT Inspector Certification.
• Air Brake Certification.
• Electrical experience.
• Welding and fabrication experience.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Ability to work in all seasonal temperature conditions.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of commercial trucks, including welding and fabricating.
• Ensuring equipment is DOT compliant.
• Ensuring equipment is operational with minimal downtime.
• Maintain a culture of compliance and safety in the workplace by enforcing policies.
• Keep work environment safe and clean; document repairs clearly.

Overview

• Monday-Friday
• $24 to $26/hour depending on experience

Responsibilities

The Technicianwill be responsible for:

• Repair and maintenance of commercial trucks, includingwelding and fabricating
• Ensuring equipment is DOT compliant
• Ensuring equipment is operational with minimal downtime
• Responsible for maintaining a culture of compliance and safety in the workplace by enforcing established policies and procedures

• Ensures a safe and clean work environment
• Ability to clearly document cause, complaint, and correction on each repair order
• Able diagnose and repair issues related to (but not limited to) trailers, some light mechanical on Trailers and Forklifts
• Able to weld and fabricate
• Must be able to complete repairs within SRT times
• Will work on other equipment as necessary
• Must be on time and present on days schedule to work
