Job summary

Landmark Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our community by performing interior and exterior repairs and preventive maintenance, while delivering strong customer service to residents. In this on-site role, you will assist with electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs, monitor inventories, report time, conduct inspections, and respond to after-hours emergencies.

• 2 years’ experience with electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Computer literacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance operations and repairs of the property.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Monitor inventory of parts and supplies.
• Report time and attendance; maintain daily logs.
• Respond to service requests in a timely manner.
• Assist with emergencies, after-hours calls, and weekend coverage.
• Maintain a clean, OSHA-compliant work environment.
• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed.
• Support the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.

Job DescriptionThe primary role of the Maintenance Technician is to assist with the maintenance program for the community and preserve the value of the asset. The Maintenance Technician assists in maintaining the community’s interior and exterior physical condition and is a customer service driven team player.Reports to: Maintenance SupervisorDirect Reports: NoneRoles and ResponsibilitiesThe duties listed below are an outline of the Maintenance Technician’s responsibilities and should not be considered an all-inclusive list.
